This solution Cage-Free-L has been proven to achieve very high standards of quality of life and reproduction while obtaining almost the same performance and costs as traditional poultry cage systems.
Features and Advantages
- Elevated Feeding: Each layer is equipped with a manure belt, no litter is used, resulting in less dust and cleaner air inside the house.
- Convenient Management: Equipped with cage doors and opening mechanisms for easy inoculation and handling of chickens.
- Vertical Perches: Perches are arranged vertically, with climbing ladders provided during the early stages to help chickens move up and down.
- Rational Feed and Egg Collection Layout: Feed troughs are placed in the inner walkway, and egg collectors are placed in the outer walkway to avoid floor eggs.
- Early Group Transfer: Young chickens (60 days old) can be transferred early to the laying frames with only one set available.
- High Stocking Density: Each building can accommodate up to 80,000 birds.
